Sunset Resorts understands that severe weather events may cause our guests to consider changing their travel plans. With this in mind, we offer our guests the following Hurricane Policy valid through Nov 30, 2012 and valid at: the playful Sunset Beach Resort, Spa & Waterpark in Montego Bay, the legendary Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort, Spa & Conference Center in Ocho Rios and the chic hideaway Sunset at the Palms Resort in Negril.

In the event that there is a Hurricane Warning in Jamaica (as defined by the U.S. National Weather Service) within the dates of your reservations, Sunset Resorts will offer you the convenience of the following options:
-For guests that are in house and opt to depart early, penalties will be waived and guests will receive a refund or receive a credit for travel up to one year for the number of nights interrupted.
-For guests that opt to cancel reservations within 48 hours of arrival, penalties will be waived and guests will receive full refund or a credit for travel up to one year for the number of nights originally booked.
-Guests may arrive after the storm passes for either the same number of nights, in which case, Sunset Resorts will make every effort to confirm the dates and room category, and guarantee no (hotel) rate increase - OR - stay for fewer nights, in which case you will be refunded for the interrupted nights not used.

Rescheduling your Sunset Resorts vacation:
-Sunset Resorts will guarantee the original rate, inclusive of discounts and value added items for re-booked travel through December 15, 2012
-The alternate stay dates must be reserved within 30 days of cancellation; must commence within one year of the original stay; will be in an equivalent room category to the one originally booked; is applicable during the original travel season dates; will be subject to availability and may also be subject to Sunset Resorts imposed blackout restrictions. This offer is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time.

If you have booked other products and services provided by third party supplier included in your vacation, such as airline tickets, car rentals or vacation insurance, you will continue to be responsible for any non refundable payments, cancellation or change fees assessed by those suppliers, Sunset Resorts cannot waive those applicable charges.
The safety and well-being of guests at Sunset Resorts is of the utmost importance. Should there be an emergency at the resorts, please be assured that the resort management and staff have the training, resources and experience to enable our guests to weather any storm.
