A friendly town center with large craft market divides this colourful resort area into two distinct holiday styles.

The beach side is seven miles of palm-lined, sparkling white sand, dotted with resorts and restaurants on the beach
and also across the road on the land side.
Definitely the more active area, the beach is home to many clubs offering live reggae. A nice mix of tourists, locals, great reggae and dancing the night away in the warm sand make this an evening not to be missed.
Water sports are available all along the beach.

The cliff side is 6 miles of black coral cliffs, winding road and a slower pace.
For those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving the more rugged cliffs with it's crystal-clear azure water and fascinating caves is the place to be.
Many of the cliff resorts offer sea view rooms and some offer private cottage or villa like accommodations with incredible sunset views.
...Stay on either side (or both) and the other is just a comfortable walk, bike ride or short taxi ride away.
